Alvin got busy with work as an analyst & travelling that made his fitness fall off to the point he found it difficult to get back the momentum. He didn't realise he gained that excess fat so quick.

As someone who is social and goes out a lot for work meals and meals with friends, he still wanted to maintain that lifestyle.

I was working a stressful job, working overtime on some days. I thought I couldn't be in the best shape of my life after working full-time, as everyone always said: "I don't have time to exercise now that I'm working full-time."

I did not want to spend hours in the gym, because I had to also have energy to focus on my work, and I couldn't spend so much time cooking every single day, and still needed that convenience of eating takeouts at times.

So I got into the best shape of my life by learning I could train 4hrs/week, while still ordering takeout for office lunches and having weekend dinners out.
